Starting in 1950 the MASA ( Minas Almagrera S.A. ) build the Arteal Komplex with :
– an Electricityplant,
– Facilitties for Miners,
– Dewatering Installations
Of significant importance is the St.Barbara tunnel. The Tunnel with a length of appr. 4.100 m and surface levelled ( Rambla Arteal ) leads beneath the different Barrancos to the east od the Sierra connecting the Mines . The Tunnel was mainlay used for entrance to the Mines and haulage of ores.
